Jiejie Microelectronics will participate in the 2021 (Spring) USB PD&Type-C Asia Exhibition on March 26th. At that time, Mr. Yu Weizhao, Deputy General Manager of Jiejie Microelectronics (Shanghai), will attend the exhibition and give a speech.
The theme of the speech is “USB Type-C ® & PD Makes Dreams Come True&The Dream of Jiejie Microelectronics.

Mr. Yu Weizhao graduated from the University of Newcastle in the UK in 1989 with a First Class Honours Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and a Master’s degree in Philosophy. At National Semiconductor in the United States, he and his team collaborated with Microsoft and Compaq Computer to write and release USB-OHCI, which was adopted by Apple and the industry.
Afterwards, representing NEC Electronics as a board member of the 1394TA and USB IF Standards Association, he became one of the core contributors to the customization of the 1394 OpenHCI and USB 2.0/OTG standards.
At Acer Laboratories (ALi), JC-61 Committee (WING) was established in JEDEC in March 2002 and served as the Chairman of the 802.11 OpenHCI Industry Standards Group in the same year.
At Philips Semiconductor, responsible for the NFC/IP set-top box/WinVista Media PC project involving Microsoft.
Leading the team to win over 80% of Intel’s second and third generation Atom CPUs in the MID market as PMU customers at NEC/Renesas Electronics. At Chongqing AVIC Micro, manage PMU and PMIC product lines.
At Dale Electronics, he successively served as the Manager of Power ICs Business Department and the Director of Discrete Device Business Development. Afterwards, he served as Deputy General Manager and Chairman’s Assistant at Changzhou Galaxy Microelectronics Taiwan Design Center.
Currently serving as the Deputy General Manager of Jiejie Microelectronics (Shanghai), responsible for the business expansion of advanced power semiconductors and related products such as SGT MOSFETs.
