Optical relay
An optical relay is an AC/DC semiconductor relay, which is an integrated component of light-emitting and light-receiving components. The input side and the output side are electrically insulated, but signals can be transmitted by optical signals. Optical relays have the advantages of no mechanical contact, long service life, low operating current, high isolation voltage, high-speed switching, and low leakage current, and are mainly used in measuring, communication, security, and medical equipment.
